Ms. Charny has been practicing law since 1984 when she joined the Camden County Prosecutor's Office after clerking for the Honorable Judith A. Yaskin. For 5 1/2 years, Ms. Charny tried cases in major criminal trials where she gained extensive experience in the area of domestic violence, ultimately leading to her evolution into Divorce and Family Law. Ms. Charny is a role model for the firm, ensuring the team's compassionate commitment to the family unit. She is a Barrister in the Thomas S. Forkin Family Law Inns of Court, and is a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist in the Superior Court of New Jersey for both Camden and Burlington Counties. Ms. Charny is an active member of the Matrimonial sections for the New Jersey State Bar, Camden County Bar and Burlington County Bar Associations.

Since 1999, Ms. Charny has been the Cherry Hill Township Municipal Court Prosecutor. She was recently named "Top Attorney" for Divorce and Family Law by SJ Magazine and has appeared on Legal Line and CN8 "Your Morning", in connection with both Matrimonial and Municipal Court issues. Ms. Charny resides in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with her husband and law partner, Richard Charny, and their three teenage sons. The family is actively involved in community service including fund raising for the American Cancer Society, Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes, Jewish Federation and Jewish Community Center of Southern New Jersey.
